I started making dolls a couple of years ago and then realized that they were all actually puppets so I founded id Theatre as a way to share my love of puppetry, fairytales, folktales, and bad poetry. 😆 I believe that our stories really do have the power to change the world while allowing magical thinking and catharsis from the grind of the daily news cycle. Something I need and wholly embrace! Maybe you do, too.
Why id? Because this work is one of psychic energy emerging from my unconscious with gusto to laugh, cry, scream, and enchant the world into becoming a kinder place free of rules or constraints. It’s my primal scream!
